It's the annual Record Store Day in the UK today
This is a shot of SoundClash in Norwich, one of our few remaining independent record stores.

Also the first shot i'm posting that was taken with my new Fuji X100 (thanks 500px.com/nickcox for the birthday present contribution!). So far it's proved as quirky as people have said, but feels great to really focus on just taking 35mm shots and force myself to go back to basics a little...and when you get it right, wow the image quality is fantastic

The overhead train in Chicago is a famous sight.
The architecture in Chicago is fantastic, but the overhead rail can make parts of it seem a little enclosed and industrial.

Another Vegas shot. This time from within The Mirage where the latest Cirque Du Soleil, based on the Beatles, is showing. It's called 'Love'.

Not the best Cirque Du Soleil from our point of view...less acrobatics and feats of physical prowess, and more a visually stunning piece of choreography...still good though!. As is the way in Vegas, it isn't just the show that's amazing it's also the theatre and the entrance etc. This light display is at the end of the walkway to the foyer of the theatre, right next to a fantastic Beatles memorabilia store.

If we were to recommend one Cirque to see in Vegas it would have to be Ka at the MGM Grand...simply breathtaking.

A good old English tradition!....couldn't tell you the history or reasoning behind Morris Dancing (must google it!), but it does look strange in the context of today's playstation's & xbox's! Taken at the Woodcote Rally near Oxford in England. A pre-digital age festival of traction engines, classic bikes and cars, and local crafts etc....yep, I got dragged along ;-)

Potsdamer Platz, Berlin
Visited Berlin on a stag do. There's some fantastic architecture at Postdamer Platz in Berlin. There was also a fantastic multi-national atmosphere at the fanfest for the World Cup right in front of the Brandenburg Gate....very different to some of the scenes reported in the English press.
